KASAI is a luxury womenswear brand founded by Ana Olingheru, a fashion designer based in Bucharest whose creative vision was shaped through her experience in Milan, one of the world’s leading fashion capitals. Rooted in fine arts and fashion design, KASAl exists at the intersection of conceptual design, emotional expression, are conscious creation.
The brand approaches fashion beyond seasonal trends. Each garment is designed as a timeless piece, created with intention, precision, and respect for craftsmanship.

THE DESIGNER
Ana Olingheru is a creative director and fashion designer with an educational background from the Academia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan and the National University of Arts Bucharest. Her work is shaped by a strong foundation in fine arts, combined with a refined understanding of luxury fashion design.
Her creative process is intuitive and introspective. Clothing becomes a language through which she explores femininity, identity, and transformation. Ana believes that fashion holds the power to influence how women feel, move, and exist in the world
Through her work, she aims to create designer womenswear fashion as a form of artistic expression empowering women to embody strength and vulnerability with equal confidence. Her approach rejects fast fashion in favor of thoughtful design, ethical production, and long lasting value.
THE BRAND
KASAI was born from a moment of spiritual clarity. The name emerged intuitively and later revealed a deeper meaning. Kasai is also the name of a region in Africa associated with the exploitation of children in the diamond trade. This discovery shaped the ethical foundation of the brand and its commitment to conscious fashion I creation.
As a sustainable luxury fashion brand, KASAl stands against exploitation and overproduction. Every piece is crafted in limited quantities using carefully selected Italian and premium fabrics. The production process is intentionally slow, allowing attention to detail and responsible craftsmanship to remain central.
KASAI represents a form of resistance in a fast paced fashion industry. It embraces a
slower rhvthm and invites a deeper connection between garment and wearer. zach collection reflects a meditation on femininity, expressed through bold silhouettes, refined textures, and emotional depth.
